Reading Time: 2 minutes

This week, Turin transforms once again into the beating heart of contemporary art. From October 29 to November 2, the city hosts four major fairs, Artissima, Paratissima, Flashback and The Others, each offering a distinct lens on today’s artistic landscape.
- Artissima 2025
From October 31 to November 2 (preview on October 30), Artissima returns to the Oval Lingotto for its 32nd edition, confirming its role as Italy’s most international contemporary art fair. Directed by Luigi Fassi, the 2025 edition is themed “Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth”, inspired by the eclectic figure of Richard Buckminster Fuller and his iconic 1969 book of the same name (edition by Il Saggiatore). For the fourth consecutive year, Artissima draws inspiration from a visionary thinker to spark a collective reflection. Through art, its community, and the plurality of its languages, the fair aims to provide tools to interpret and navigate the complexities of the present. With 176 participating Italian and international galleries, including 63 monographic projects, the fair hosts four principal sections (Main Section, New Entries, Monologue/Dialogue and Art Spaces & Editions) and the three curated sections (Present Future, Back to the Future and Disegni).

- Paratissima XXI
From October 29 to November 2, Paratissima XXI transforms the Real Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri into a “cosmic” laboratory of emerging creativity. With the theme “KOSMOS”, the event celebrates harmony, connection and the invisible networks linking disciplines and artists. More than 450 artists occupy 12,000 square meters with exhibitions, performances and site-specific installations. Curated projects include Disobbedienza Formale, Algoritmi and Dark Matter, exploring topics from AI to fragility and metamorphosis. The festival also extends beyond the venue with Art in the City, bringing artistic interventions to the streets and shops of Moncalieri. True to its independent spirit, Paratissima remains a beacon for new generations of artists and curators, blending experimentation with accessibility and transforming the city into a constellation of living art.

- Flashback Art Fair 2025
Galleries, site-specific artworks, exhibitions and performances are built and developed around the ever-evolving narrative of Flashback: a fair that looks at historicised art, while never forgetting its indissoluble link with the present. This year’s edition (30 October – 2 November 2025; preview events on 29 October), is Untitled and rejects totalising and exclusive narratives, celebrating the freedom of art while affirming its political and cultural significance. This way, Flashback Art Fair affirms its purpose to break down physical and temporal barriers and to give space and voice to the invisible.

- The Others
The 14th edition of The Others Art Fair (30 October–2 November 2025) presents itself with a title that is already a manifesto: “The future is here, right now!”. An invitation to imagine a future that should not simply be waited for or observed, but inhabited, crossed and rewritten through the proposals of young galleries and non-profit spaces: realities capable of anticipating what will be – or could be – the art system of tomorrow, or at least a possible declination of it.
Hosted for the second year in a row in the spaces of the ITCILO, the International Training Centre in Turin of the ILO (International Labour Organization), normally accessible only with a special permit, the fair will be held from October 30th to November 2nd, 2025 and will involve emerging galleries, independent spaces and transdisciplinary projects that will give life to brand new installations, immersive performances, sculptures reflecting on the nature of time and collective regeneration experiences.
